RTP Kids

Resolute Theatre Project seeks to cultivate artists of all ages, which is why from its inception, children's programming has been an integral aspect of who they are.

RTP Kids is committed to creating workshops, classes, and performance opportunities that are both professional and accessible. With an emphasis on creativity, students will find themselves in an environment that fosters their growth as artists and encourages them to imagine better solutions for brighter tomorrows.

Past RTP Kids Shows

One of the best ways to learn is to simply do. At RTP Kids, we are committed to providing our students with the opportunity to perform.

KidWorks

Theatre Created by Kids

We bring kids together to experiment with performance in an extended, supervised time of creative play. The children act, sing, and dance, but also write, direct, and choreograph.

Each summer, a handful of kid directors make immense preparations for their KidWorks productions. These directors select their shows, promote auditions, and cast players. They prepare scripts, music, and choreography to equip their casts for the independent work required prior to mandatory rehearsal week. When everyone comes together, shows are staged and rehearsed during one week of intensive workshops and performed for audiences. And perhaps the most unique part of the entire process is that adult mentors walk alongside these student artists from start to finish.
